Updated 15 March 2025The lofoten Goggles are highly recommended for **skiing**, with numerous reviews praising their performance on the slopes in various conditions. They offer a **wide field of view**, excellent visibility, and a comfortable fit, especially when paired with a Sweet Protection helmet. Many reviewers highlighted the goggles' effectiveness in both sunny and snowy/cloudy conditions, with some specifically mentioning their strong performance in flat light. The Zeiss lenses are praised for their clarity and contrast enhancement. The goggles also feature an anti-fog treatment, which most users found effective, although a few experienced fogging issues, particularly in deep powder or consistently snowy conditions. Lens changing is possible, though some found it less intuitive than magnetic systems.\n\n**Pros:** Wide field of view, excellent visibility in various light conditions (including flat light), comfortable fit (especially with Sweet Protection helmets), effective anti-fog treatment for most users, stylish design.\n\n**Cons:** Lens changing can be fiddly, some reports of fogging in extreme conditions, potential for scratching, price considered high by some given that only one lens is included.\n\n**Recommendation:** The lofoten Goggles are an excellent choice for skiers who prioritize a wide field of view, clear optics, and a comfortable fit. While the price point is premium, the performance and stylish design make them a worthwhile investment for serious skiers. Consider purchasing additional lenses for optimal performance in varying light conditions. However, those frequently skiing in deep powder or consistently snowy conditions may want to consider other options due to reported fogging issues.\n
Best ski goggles I've used!

+ Very wide viewing angle!
+ The black S2 lens looks neat and has a very good tint that works through most of the day here in northern Europe.
+ Perfect fit with my POC Obex BC helmet.
+ No fogging issues, although I use a OuterU FaceGlove which helps with that anyway.
No negatives as of yet. The lens switching mechanism feels a bit flimsy when operated, but when locked in place it is sturdy. Hopefully this does not change over time.

Great glasses, only downside is that the quick change takes some time, compared to some of my other glasses

Love the lens. It works perfectly in sunny conditions and to my surprise even on the cloudy days.
