Best Rescue alpine hard shell pants out there

I use them for alpine rescue. After trying hard shells from the usual good brands, the Norrona's are by far the most rugged, versatile, and adequate. They are a bit heavier than others, a no-brainer trade-off as the fabric is bomb-proof when it comes to navigating and crawling through brush like we often have to do, even in the middle of winter. Raising the leg, a concern with other pants, was a non-issue. Great cut. All in all, as good as they get. The fit is spot on, accounting that European sizes are ever slightly smaller than the equivalent in US sizes.
