Caroline Winslow is a professional skier particularly known for being a "dawn patroller" and "weekend warrior," maximizing her free time with multi-sport adventures like bike-supported ski missions.

What is your main activity, and why do you love it?
Skiing is my main and favorite activity! The exhilaration and adrenaline, simultaneously combined with freedom and calmness, is something I haven’t found in any other activity.

How old were you when you became passionate about this activity?
I was lucky enough to have my parents put me on skis before I turned 2!

How would you describe the nature of the place where you grew up?
I was lucky enough to grow up in Telluride, Colorado, USA where I was surrounded by jagged peaks of the San Juan mountains. These mountains were my playground growing up, skiing, hiking, camping, and playing in the rivers.

What adventures do you dream of undertaking in the future?
More multi-sport adventures - such as bike or sailing-supported ski missions!

How can you help take Norrøna another step forward in innovation and product development?
Leveraging my professional background at the intersection of climate, technology, and innovation, I am eager to help support and amplify Norrona’s efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2029.

Do you have a profession alongside your main activity? If so, tell us about it!
I work for a global nonprofit that’s focused on accelerating the energy transition. Within my role, I get to work with startups around the world that are building solutions to the climate crisis and help them scale their businesses and technologies. It’s a job that I’m incredibly passionate about, and I am motivated every day by the innovative technologies and business models that can help us achieve a carbon-free future.
