Activity
Mountain Guide and Mountaineer.
What year did you join the Norrøna family?
2017.
What do you actively do to cut back on your carbon footprint?
It's a tricky question without a relation..compared to myself 5 years ago: I drive less and take the train when possible, I fly way less and keep discovering new places within long-known places. Sometimes you just have to change the perspective a bit. By buying local meat and enjoying cooking a lot I find myself eating less meat and when I do, it feels more valuable.
Was there someone or some event that inspired you to get involved in your sport/activity?
The humbleness that can be found when climbing and also a constant curiosity about how much I'm capable of.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
Wetterstein Mountains, Germany.
What hobbies do you enjoy participating in?
Climbing, Skiing, Paragliding, Reading, Cooking, Discussing, and Latte-Art at a constant beginner level.
What would be the theme song describing your life?
Pixies - where is my mind.
What is a skill that everyone should master and why?
Self-reflection - because only when we know ourselves, we are able to challenge ourselves to be the best we can be.
What advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
Do it all again but stop when it hurts. Your body is the most valuable thing you'll ever get for free. Don't ignore injuries.
