Maxime Chabloz is a Swiss skier who has achieved the rare feat of becoming a World Champion in two completely different elements: snow and water. He won the Freeride World Tour (FWT) in 2022, and translated the same technicality to the ocean becoming the GKA Kite Freestyle World Champion in 2024.
What do you actively do to cut back on your carbon footprint?
While travelling I am always shocked about the amount of trash you will find out in nature. So I try my best to sort my trash and make sure it ends up in the right place and not on our beautiful beaches or mountains.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
I’ve traveled to many beautiful places but every time I come back to switzerland it always strikes me as my favourite place
What advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
Don’t rush and enjoy the process
What hobbies do you enjoy participating in?
I like paragliding and speed-flying in my free time

I can play drums
