This supreme shell jacket is made for big mountain freeriding but works perfectly for general ski/snowboard activities on and off-slope.
We use the 70Dx160D GORE-TEX® PRO fabric because it is the world-leading environmentally responsible membrane for durable waterproofness, optimized breathability and total windproofness.
The GORE-TEX ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane is a key milestone in the responsible performance journey, providing high-performing, durable products that are engineered for long product life. The GORE‑TEX ePE membrane is light and thin, yet strong, and it's PFAS free (under 50ppm) with a reduced carbon footprint. To form new GORE‑TEX products, the membrane is combined with carefully selected textiles, including recycled ones.
Key features include a newly designed drop-hood – where the hood is securely attached high in the collar. The collar is adjustable around the neck. When water hits the newly developed seam along the hood's brim, this seam channels the water off to the sides to minimize water on the googles. One-hand hood adjustment. For ventilation, the jacket features pit zips under the arms, chest ventilation, and triceps ventilation. There are two chest pockets, two new lower horizontal hand pockets, and a key-card pocket on the upper arm. It also comes with a zip-off powder skirt with gripper elastic and a snap-seal solution. A zip on the sleeve provides easy access to your watch. The jacket has new integrated hand gaiters that are both stronger and easier to replace, should they wear out after long-term use.
The jacket has a technical fit with articulated sleeves for optimal mobility and a longer cut in the back for extra protection.
