Where did you grow up?
I was born up north on an island called Vannøya, my whole family is from there!

Where do you currently call home?
I've lived in Meråker since I was ten, but my heart and home is Vannøya.

What activities are you into?
I used to be a professional cross country skier, but now I ski, run and hike in the mountains. I also do some climbing and biking.

What year did you join the Norrøna family?
2020

What current items on norrona.com are some of your go-to favorites?
I love the lofoten collection, but my favorite “keep me warm pants” during cold nights up in the mountains, is the lyngen down knickers.

What do you actively do to cut back on your carbon footprint?
I do the small things that we all can do, such as recycling, commute with the train/bus, try to fix things when they are broken, sell and buy second hand, use my voice to support the people who care for the environment. I’m also a Protect Our Winter ambassador.

Career highlights/accomplishments
To compete in the Olympics in Vancouver, World championship in Holmenkollen, Liberec, and race in the world cups.

Where is your favorite place in the world?
I don’t know one favorite place, it depends on the people I’m with, but usually, wherever it is snow and mountains I smile. BUT If I could choose right now, Vannøya.

What hobbies do you enjoy participating in?
Everything that I can use all my energy on. Besides sport, I really like to build things.

What are your hidden talents?
Pushing myself, finding solutions, and never give up… and I have actually built my own terrace.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and why?
I would love to stop time. Then we could fix global warming, save the earth, and enjoy the moments right here, right now…. just a little bit longer…
